We are looking for experienced professionals in business development, entrepreneurship training, leadership, mentoring, and the creative industries to support Women\u2019s Bank projects in Nepal, Kenya, and Myanmar. The volunteers\u2019 task is to strengthen and develop the skills of local women entrepreneurs and teams.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We are seeking skilled mentors and trainers who can share their knowledge and expertise with local teams, while helping to develop tools and training programs that will continue to support partners as they work independently.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The assignment in Nepal includes both an in-country field component and remote support after the trip. The volunteer assignments for Myanmar and Kenya are conducted entirely remotely, making it possible to participate alongside full-time employment.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kenya<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

What?<\/span><\/b> We are looking for ten (10) distance mentors to support professionals in the creative industries in Kenya. The mentors will provide guidance and mentoring to creative entrepreneurs, helping them strengthen their personal and professional development, entrepreneurial skills, and strategic thinking.<\/span>

\nWhen?<\/span><\/b> Four months, with two group options: starting in February or in June 2026.<\/span>

Nepal<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

What?<\/span><\/b> We are looking for a volunteer to strengthen women entrepreneurs\u2019 skills in business governance and leadership. The volunteer will support also business health checkups and promote networking for export opportunities.<\/span>
\nWhere?<\/span><\/b> Kailali and Dadeldhura regions, Nepal.<\/span>
\nWhen?<\/span><\/b> Workshop trip during spring 2026, followed by remote support after the field period.<\/span>

Myanmar<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

What?<\/span><\/b> We are looking for a volunteer to develop entrepreneurship training modules and deliver Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions for project staff. The expert will strengthen the staff\u2019s capacity to provide ongoing coaching and mentoring support to women entrepreneurs.<\/span>

\nWhen?<\/span><\/b> Two or three months, starting in spring 2026.<\/span>

Practical Arrangements<\/span><\/b>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

All logistical arrangements in the project countries and in Finland are managed by Finn Church Aid. Before the assignment, the volunteer will receive an orientation on the country context and project activities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After the assignment, the volunteer is expected to participate in Women\u2019s Bank events and communications in Finland. The total duration of each assignment is defined in the respective terms of reference.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>Skills Donation<\/span><\/b> program is a volunteer initiative that covers travel and accommodation expenses, as well as a daily allowance for the duration of the assignment for the assignments that include travel. No remuneration is paid for the assignment itself.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
